Diana
McKenna has a lifelong love of art and is pricncipally a painter
and printmaker. Diana has lived most of her life in East Anglia
- her extensive art education began in 1964:

Camberwell School of Art 1966-1969
Brighton School of Art 1969-1970
London Institute Art Department 1996-1998
Diana
began teaching Art and Design and Photography at A Level at Anglia
Ruskin University in 1984 and until1993 and also at Cambridge Regional
College and Long Road sixth Form College until 2000.
She
has always maintained her own vatiety of work ranging from portraiture
to painting and printmaking.In her job at Long Road she held a extra
responsibility post for photography and for developing the Adult
Education Programme. In her own work the subject matter is taken
from the natural world and often inspired by travelling to other
countries. She enjoys using a variety of materials including oils,
acrylics and watercolours.
Diana
finds photography a very helpful aid to her work and uses a digital
SLR extensively as a means of recording information and also offers
some of her photographs for sale. She has participated in various
Exhibitions since 2000. |
