This was one of the many designs I produced for tins for Elite Boxes, a major tin gift ware company in England.

This was probably the hardest tin to illustrate, as not only was the design very intricate but I had to use a tin printed with a line graph as a guide to work out all the distortion. The artwork for pressed tins is naturally flat but involves much stretching when it is pressed to the required shape. This design has massive stretching in both directions. The artwork for this tin looks nothing like the final design. This was a highly popular design and was used by a leading soap company to contain an egg shaped soap.
