My first idea for this logo was a blue teardrop containing www and the brief stated the logo must represent the website. My client had approved this idea and all the logos were created and sent off. The next job was to design a postcard to promote the website with an abstract theme. I found this image ( thanks to 'Specular' ) and felt it was perfect for the job. Suddenly I realised if I replaced the teardrop with one of the ink blobs it would really link the logo to the postcard image and a style was born! I produced the animation at the top for the masthead of the website. Check out this website if you are a budding poet or just love great poetry.
